Spreading Holiday Cheer & Saving Our Historic Church: Welcome to Our Honor System Farmstand!
Hello, neighbors and friends!
We have some festive news to share from the Friends of Swansonville. Just in time for the holidays, we’ve set up a little farmstand right here at our beloved Swansonville Church (11 Werner Rd), and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
We’re selling beautiful, fresh wreaths and garland, and it’s all for our favorite cause: saving our historic 1904 church building. Every single purchase goes directly into the restoration fund, helping us fix, preserve, and dream up the future of this special place.
How Our Cozy Little Farmstand Works:
We’re running this on the honor system, powered by the wonderful trust in our community. It’s simple!
Visit: Swing by the church at 11 Werner Road and pick out the perfect wreath or garland for your door.
Pay: Use your phone to scan the QR code to pay easily with Venmo or PayPal.
Prefer cash? No problem! Just send us a quick message, and our president Terra (who lives right nearby) can pop over to collect it.
More Than Just a Wreath
When you buy a bit of greenery from our stand, you’re getting so much more. You’re supporting the oldest building in Port Ludlow—a humble chapel built by hand in 1904 from scraps from the old lumber mill. You’re helping us take the next step toward our big dream: turning this historic space into a warm community center and a simple, sweet venue for local music and gatherings.
It’s a small, festive way to make a real difference right here in our own neighborhood.
We hope you’ll stop by, choose a wreath, and feel the joy of knowing you’re keeping a piece of our history alive. Thank you for being part of our story and for your incredible support.
With gratitude,
The Friends of Swansonville Crew
